About Mount View Art Show

The annual Mount View Art Show is renowned in artistic circles for exhibiting the artworks of local and interstate artists. Our show this year will feature both established and up and coming artists, in traditional and contemporary styles. Originally the show was started by the Mount View Primary School community in 1984 and extended into craft stalls, with locals selling their homemade goods at stall tables.

Since then, the show has developed into an art exhibition of high regard, exhibiting paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, jewellery, photography and mixed media works. This year we will also be offering collaborative pieces of students art work to bid for.

Over the years prolific artists have been included in the show and in our guest artist section. These include: Graeme Base, Kim Kennedy, David Chen, Michael Goff, Joan Denner, Lynne Mellady, Jo-Anne Seberry, Fiona Bilbrough, Michelle Mischkulnig, Brian Fitzgerald and Rosetta Santucci and Emma Hack to name a few.
