Jen is a Melbourne based Artist painting contemporary art. She has a lifelong passion for art and art history and continues painting alongside other well known local Artists to share techiniques and ideas. She currently paints using acrylics in a semi abstract style. Jen has been continually exhibiting as a professional Artist since 2002.

Creating paintings is part of Jen's everyday life as a full time Artist. "Colour to me is everything. What excites me is creating works that capture a luminous mix of rich intense colours and texture". Jen's paintings are full of light and seductive brushwork to enliven the senses of the viewer.

Intuition guides Jen's hand when painting. She describes it as entering into an enclosed and very focussed personal space whereby the canvas grows into its own artwork. Her paintings are not a literal representation: images evolve from her dreams, memory, nature and imagination. "For me, it is important that my art should bring pleasure to the viewer. I have a pure love of paint and strive to create works that capture vivid beauty using the language of colour".

Jen has paintings in the corporate market and in private collections in Australia and overseas. She enjoys a steady stream of sales and private commissions.
