ARTIST NOTES: Hidden Garden is an abstract mixed media artwork using water soluble crayons, Sennelier iridescence oil pastels for line markings on the top layer, global high flow acrylic paint, on a gallery wrapped canvas. The hue contrast from the deep red/blue/purple petals to the soft peach/pink/beige flowers. The brush strokes are expressive creating forms of leaves, petals and blooms throughout the painting. The senses are awakened by the perfumed flowers, the swaying petals, the floating pollen and the blooming buds. It's a visual treat for the eyes.

ARTIST BIO As a self-taught Australian artist, my artistic journey was ignited back in 2015.   My gallery of work showcases my love of colour, culture and nature all captured in vivid pastel, acrylic, oil and watercolour mediums. In August 2018, I discovered the versatility of working with resin to create textural wall and functional art to compliment your own home décor. Another love is working with alcohol inks.  It's the unique free flowing shapes, lines, forms and colours fusing together to create abstract artwork.
